Welcome It has been awhile in coming but finally I’m happy to announce my new website for 2012. It's a work in progress. New pages will be added soon. 2011 was a great year. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some fabulous artists and musicians both as a Musical Director and keyboard player (see the ‘Artists’ page). Highlights included Rick Astley at the Singapore Formula 1 last September. Providing support for comedian, Peter Kay’s tour. Then there was the Mary Wilson (of the Supremes) tour earlier in the year in addition to the Here & Now 10th Anniversary tour last summer which included artists such as Boy George, Jason Donovan and Jimmy Sommerville My ‘Roland Connection’ continued with trips to Japan, the US and Canada.I performed for Roland at both the NAMM show and the Frankfurt Music Fair plus various European events, the focus being on the new V-Piano Grand last year - an amazing piece of technology. (left - Picture taken after a duet with the great Canadian Jazz pianist, Bernie Senensky) In addition, the usual studio projects continued to come in having worked on projects for Hal Leonard, Music Sales and ABRSM publishing. This year began with (the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' star), Brendan Cole's 'LIve & Unjudged' tour. After a few UK dates with The Three Degrees I'm off to Frankfurt Music Fair for Roland. If you want to contact me, click on 'Contact' and drop me a line. Always happy to hear from you. | ||||

News (May 2012) The current edition of Pianist Magazine (No. 65) features an article about John. In it he talks about his musical background, teaching piano and his work with Roland. John will soon be filming tutorial videos on some of the musical content found within the magazine. Readers will be able to go online and follow his step-by-step guide to tackling some of the technical difficulties found in these chosen pieces. In his words, "whilst there is no replacement for a good piano teacher, I hope that the videos will assist and enthuse beginners in their practice".
